Dig up FUN this summer with an introduction to horticulture and more at Carteret Community College! Each camp day will have a unique theme, combining hands-on activities, lessons, and interactive games to engage students in learning about plants, insects, and gardening. This camp will provide a fun and educational experience, helping campers develop an appreciation for gardening, nature, and sustainable practices.

• Day 1: Seed to Sprout - The Magic of Growing
• Day 2: Bug Hunt - Pests vs Protectors
• Day 3: Pollinator Power - Bees, Butterflies, & Beyond!
• Day 4: Mini-Environments - Talking Terrariums
• Day 5: Garden to Table - Harvest & Enjoy!

Campers should come to camp wearing closed-toe shoes, and be prepared to dig, water, and spend a little time outside (UV & rain dependent)! 

Please bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle.
